Darren Lee, Elvis Tribute at
Federico’s Supper Club

December 9, 2019
**** SECOND SHOW ADDED – DECEMBER 10, 2019 ***

Darren Lee was born in Edmonton (later becoming a resident in Vancouver) and is the first Canadian to win the WORLD ELVIS CHAMPIONSHIP in Memphis, earning him the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal in 2013 in recognition of excellence in his field, which includes longest running Elvis tribute artist in Las Vegas history (11 years at the Stratisphere Casino).

We are filling up fast with a high possibility of adding a second show on Tuesday, December 10th. If interested in Tuesday, December 10th instead of Monday, December 9 – please call the supper club.

His Elvis World Grand Champion title came in 1997 in Memphis on the very same day that Elvis died 20 years prior (August 16). After a record breaking 11 year performance run as an Elvis tribute artist in Vegas (until 2011), Darren moved to Maui in 2013 to star in ‘Burn’n Love’, wowing audiences with his homage to ‘The King’, becoming the #1 tribute act in Maui for 4 years.

We are pleased to welcome back Darren Lee & The Memphis Flash for a special Christmas performance. Gather friends, family or work colleagues and make it an evening of dinner and dancing with The King and top World Elvis Tribute.

History and Credits

It all started when he was knee high to a grasshopper and his mom would play her Elvis records around the house. Darren heard “Hound Dog” at age 3, and something inside started to stir. From play-singing with a tennis racket in his hand as a kid, to learning guitar, singing in a church choir, and in his teens, immersing himself into a string of successful contests and shows – he sculpted and molded his moves and his voice to create the incredible tribute performance today, where he holds many credits and accomplishments to his name.

1988 (age 21)
Darren entered an “Elvis Contest” in Edmonton, AB and won 2nd place. A chance meeting with another Elvis Impersonator led to an audition with the Elvis-Elvis-Elvis show. Darren toured with the show around Canada as the young 50’s “Energetic” Elvis.

1989
Darren formed “Rock N’ Roll Heaven” – a fantastic tribute show that featured the talented “Lee” in the roles of Elvis, Ricky Nelson, Buddy Holly, Roy Orbison, John Lennon & Ritchie Valens. The show toured for 7 years.

1994
In 1994 Darren won an Elvis Impersonator contest sponsored by the “Elvis Presley Museum”. This led to an 8 month tour in Australia with the museum.

1997
In 1997, Darren returned to Memphis on the 20th Anniversary of Elvis’ death. On August 16th 1997 – 20 years to the day, Darren Lee became the first Canadian to Rate as the ” # 1 Elvis Tribute Artist in the World”.

2000
The bright lights of Las Vegas opened up for Darren in the year 2000 with the ‘American Superstars’ show, where Darren Lee broke the Las Vegas record for being the first and only Elvis Impersonator Tribute Artist to perform in Las Vegas history for 11 straight years.

2013
New opportunities opened up in Maui, Hawaii where Darren starred in Burn’n Love, wowing audiences with his homage to ‘The King’, becoming the #1 tribute act in Maui for 4 years.
