Dockside wins Golden Plates “Best Patio”
Award for Tenth Consecutive Year

The Georgia Straight has just released its list of Golden Plate Award Winners and Dockside Restaurant is thrilled to have been voted the Best Patio for an amazing tenth consecutive year. The entire Dockside team would like to thank every person who has voted.

Nestled on the Granville Island waterfront and offering views of False Creek and the iconic, Dockside’s patio has long been a Vancouver favourite. A permanent gazebo for shade on the warmest days, open pit fireplaces for cool evenings, and casual waterfront seating areas for taking in the sunshine make Dockside’s patio a destination for every occasion.

In a city as beautiful as Vancouver, great views aren’t enough, and Dockside’s culinary team is always striving to make the experience as delicious as it is scenic. Executive Chef Zach Steele and his team take pride in turning the best local ingredients delicious, made-from-scratch menus for every occasion from for a memorable dinner celebration to, happy hour snacks and drinks watching the boats float by, to a Sunday brunch with friends.

Patio time is thirsty business, so brewmaster Cam Watson makes great craft beers in house for every beer lover and wine fans can choose from an extensive list of carefully chosen BC wines to complete the visit.

Dockside Restaurant will be opening its patio daily (weather permitting) beginning May 1st. It will also host the annual Patio Wine Tasting on May 28th with over 20 wineries and distributors on hand to pour dozens of selections. Visit for for full details and tickets.
