Celebrate the Holiday Season with
the World Premiere of Fleurs de Villes Noël
Presented by National Bank
From December 6 to 15, visitors to Alberni Street are invited to enjoy
twenty pop-up fresh floral installations created by Vancouver’s top florists
Celebrate the holiday season with Fleurs de Villes Noël presented by National Bank and supported by the Downtown Vancouver Business Improvement Association (DVBIA). From December 6 – 15, eleven of Vancouver’s leading florists, including The Flower Factory, Garlands Florist, Niche Boutique Florals, Arbutus Florist and more will be paired with Alberni Street retailers and businesses to create twenty unique pop-up floral installations, creating a Floral Trail throughout the Alberni corridor.
Visitors are invited to pick up a free Fleurs de Villes Noël map at the concierge desk at Fairmont Hotel Vancouver, and begin the Floral Trail with four installations including the ‘Lady in Red’ fresh-floral mannequin, inspired by the infamous ghost who is believed to wander the top floors of the hotel in her elegant red gown. After a visit to the floral swing outside, the Floral Trail continues two blocks west down Alberni Street, with highlights including spectacular floral archways and storefronts at Panerai, 1028 Alberni, National Bank Private Banking 1859, Thierry and Oliver Peoples.
A flower-bombed Bentley will be the feature on the corner of Thurlow and Alberni at the QuadReal building, and a stunning Porsche on the Peterson managed Shangri-La property, both in partnership with the Dilawri Group, plus floral surprises at 1166 Alberni (Peterson), Carmana Plaza Hotel and more stunning fresh-floral mannequins found inside QuadReal and Urban Fare. Visitors will be joined by festive carollers and other surprise-and-delight pop-up activations, and are encouraged to snap and share their photos at the stops along the Floral Trail for a chance to win a $750 Urban Fare gift voucher. #FDVNoelContest

Fleurs de Villes Noël will kick-off with a Media Preview event on Friday December 6th at 9:30am hosted by Fairmont Hotel Vancouver where invited guests will enjoy surprising floral teas and highlights from the Nutcracker Holiday Tea menu, then be taken on a guided walk-through of the Alberni Street installations, finishing with the fresh-floral mannequin inside Urban Fare.

“We are thrilled to present the world premiere of Fleurs de Villes Noël, an immersive artistic experience that will dazzle visitors’ eyes,” says Darwin Schandor, Vice-President of National Bank Private Banking 1859. “The event is a fantastic way to promote Vancouver’s local talent, while transforming the city’s luxury brand district into an artful, cultural gathering. We are also excited to host a stunning floral display at our offices, and invite all visitors to share this compelling experience with us.”
“We are very proud to partner with Fleurs de Villes to bring this 10-day event to Vancouver for the first time,” says Charles Gauthier, President & CEO of the Downtown Vancouver Business Improvement Association (DVBIA). “Fleurs de Villes Noël will help our Alberni Street member businesses kick off the holiday season in style, and is sure to delight residents and tourists alike. We see time and time again that activations like Fleurs de Ville Noël have a very real economic impact on retail districts, which is why the DVBIA is a strong supporter of festivals and special events in our catchment.”
