Christmas Dinners

If you’re looking for affordable Christmas lunches and dinners, I’m compiling a list of restaurants offering Christmas dinners – most under $60 and will be adding more options as I find them.  Or you can just drive around Richmond as there are always a ton of Asian restaurants doing business as usual.

Antipasti Choice of:
Involtini, Grilled rolled eggplant with beef bresaola and Taleggio cheese with artichoke cream
OR Rosa di salmome affumicato, smoked salmon and mozzarella in puff pastry “roses”, rocket with mint sauce
OR Brodo di Pesto Pomodoro, basil & pine nut fresh tomato broth, white beans, focaccia fritto (v)

Primi Choice of:
Paccheri, house made tube shaped pasta with sea bass and asparagus
OR Risotto con Funghi, chanterelle mushroom risotto, grated black truffle (v)

Secondi Choice of:
Zucchini Ripieni, tomato & Piave cheese stuffed zucchini, spicy roasted pepper sauce(v)
OR Storione Bianco, white sturgeon in agrodolce sauce with raisins and pine nuts, carrots and broccolin iOR Tagliata di Manzo, beef tenderloin in a balsamic reduction with green pepper and pan fried kale

FEAST (West Vancouver): On Dec 23 &24, we’ll be serving a fantastic $45 5-course menu!

GRAMERCY GRILL:  We’ll be featuring Chef Dennis Huang’s special 3-course dinner – $29.95

Appetizer – Soup of the Day OR Winter Salad (spicy bread crumbs, candied walnuts & organic greens, apple cider vinaigrette)

Entree – Oven Roasted Turkey (cornbread, sausage & pine nut stuffing, buttermilk mashed potatoes & gravy, citrus cranberry compote, carrots, brussel sprouts) add ham + $6 OR Pan roasted Fish of the day (cucumber dill brown butter,

Dec 24: 7-10pm  Gabriel Mark Hasselbach, Christmas Eve performance and turkey dinner with mashed potatoes, stuffing, cranberry and, of course, lots of gravy for $25.10. Book early as this night has sold out in the past.
