Revlon Cosmetics Review

New this summer at London Drugs, Revlon has the following products that you’ll want to include in your daily makeup bag.

Revlon Ultra HD Lipstick:  If you ever wanted a bright vibrant red lipstick, then Revlon Ultra HD Lipstick is all you need.  It goes on smoothly and the colour is so vibrant and lasts for about 3 or more hours without fading and has a lovely vanilla and mango scent which makes your lips oh so much more kissable. Available at London Drugs for $11.99.

Revlon Ultra HD Lip Lacquer:  This is a thick liquid, thicker than a gloss but not a lipstick. It gives you a very shiny vibrant sheen that lipstick and gloss doesn’t.  Available at London Drugs for $11.99.

When the Photo Ready Eye Art Lid+Line+Lash first came on the market, I ran out and bought the gold and purple as London Drugs had a coupon for $5 off if you bought two Revlon products. So I was happy to see the black and silver PhotoReady Eye Art in my swag bag. But when I applied the black color on my eye lid I found it to be quite intense as the solution is thicker than most cream eye shadows so I blended it with a light blue cream pencil to create smokey blue eyes. It seemed to last for about two or more hours on my eyes. I only used a little of the white color as you don’t want that much shimmer under your brow.  Available at London Drugs for $11.49.

Any girl who has ever painted their nails has heard of Cutex Nail Polish Remover but Revlon has acquired the company. The only thing I can say about it is that it works as I’ve tried the ones at dollar stores that are so weak that it takes about more than 10 wipes to get the color off one nail so making it not so frugal and an utter waste of time. Available in Moisturizing and Non-Acetone at London Drugs for $3.99.

RevlonAllBeing Asian I am like a hairless Chihuahua, so I really had to look hard for any stray hair on my brows. Surprisingly, I had none on my arms or fingers probably due to the fact that I have eczema so I shed a layer of skin every day. But the Revlon by Marchesa Runway Collection Silent Tweezer seems to work fast without any pain in plucking the one stray hair I finally did manage to find one due to the fact that the ends that are tapered in a slant.  Available at London Drugs for $10.49.

I’ve always been a fan of Revlon nail polish before I started blogging beauty products as it goes on evenly in just three strokes and doesn’t clump at all and the Colorstay GelEnvy Longwear Nail Enamel is no exception. I also found that Revlon nail polish will still be quite fluid and not clumpy after a year in my makeup bag.  Available at London Drugs for $7.99.

Like most Asian girls our primary focus is to find an eye liner to give our eyes more definition as our eye lids are smaller than other ethnicities. Unlike some eye pencils which I’ve had to keep applying so hard that I practically poked my eyes out, Revlon PhotoReady Kajal Matt Eye Pencil goes on easily to create the thick black eyes you need for those feline eyes. Durability is for a few hours. and doesn’t smear. It’s obvious that I’ll be making this my basic eye liner pencil.  Coming soon to London Drugs.
