High Tea at Honeybee Centre

After a long hard day of Christmas shopping at Potters Christmas Store, stop in for high tea at Honeybee Centre, which is only a 15 minutes away (by car).  It’s only $18 (Adult) and $12 (Child) and what you get is a delicious assortment of sandwiches and sweets.  If tea’s not your thing, there’s also lattes and mocha flavoured with honey, like the peppermint latte with peppermint honey I had.

And after tea, peruse the lovely assortment of honey that’s for sale, produced by one of 1,500 bee hives that Honeybee Centre has around the city, making Honeybee Centre the largest provider of honeybee colonies for blueberry pollination in Western Canada.  Prices start at $4.99 for 250gm of honey. Check out the Seasonal Limited Editions such as Salted Carmaleized Honey or Pumpkin Spice Honey, which I couldn’t resist.
