Vancouver Opera Opera Festival Party
– Opera Mariposa Performance
Opera Mariposa is performing at the Vancouver Opera Festival’s Party on the Plaza! In Fantastic Songs and Where to Find Them, a diverse group of young and emerging artists will explore fables, folklore and myths by combining beloved opera and Broadway highlights with music reflecting their cultural heritage. This unique half-hour concert will feature arias from The Magic Flute and Die tote Stadt alongside Canadian folk songs, musical theatre showstoppers and even family-friendly Disney hits – all of it performed in opulent operatic costumes. Join us at 11:25 am on the VOF Community Stage, then stay to enjoy all the other amazing (and free!) entertainment throughout the day.
