WildTale Coastal Grill Presents Sunday Lobster Suppers
Maritimes-inspired good times on the horizon.
The good folks at WildTale Coastal Grill know that nobody forgets the cheerful, casual vibe of a Maritime lobster supper. Friends and family in plastic bibs gather around a paper-covered table, hoist their picks and dig in for a messy, scrumptious, sociable time. And now they can experience this form of Atlantic hospitality in Yaletown every Sunday night, starting October 11.
Vancouverites John Crook and Erik Heck, co-owners of WildTale and the Flying Pig restaurants, don’t just adore seafood – they love the congenial, unpretentious atmosphere that surrounds the most memorable fish and shellfish meals. Enter WildTale – the perfect place for lobster lovers to chow down while cracking claws.
“Nothing beats the easy-going vibe of a lobster supper as they serve it in the Maritimes,” says Heck. “The fresh flavours of the food, everyone coming together to share stories, and the delicious fun of digging into the meal, make such a brilliant combination.”
“These Lobster Suppers are our way of paying homage to the Maritimes, a very special place close to our hearts,” says Crook. “We can’t wait to share the experience with guests.”
WildTale’s Sunday Lobster Supper kicks off with its classic seafood chowder and freshly baked rolls, moving on to steamed P.E.I. mussels, farmer’s salads – including greens, coleslaw and potato – and fresh steamed lobster. For dessert, select from a freshly baked pie, mixed berry shortcake, chocolate mousse or ice cream.
