Monthly WildTale Crab Boil Starting July 26
Enjoy a cracking good time at one of Yaletown’s newest restaurants
WildTale Coastal Grill’s delicious new promotion has got legs. On the last Sunday of every month, the restaurant will offer a WildTale Crab Boil that will have guests strapping on bibs and picking up crackers for a full-on feast of crab, mussels, prawns, clams, sausage, corn and potatoes. Dive in, let the drawn butter roll (down your chin) and devour the best of Canada’s West Coast in a fun atmosphere that invites good times.
“We’ve got the patio set up with a community-style table, so you can come in as a group or connect with other diners,” says co-owner John Crook. “Call it brunch, call it lunch, call it an afternoon fisherman’s feast, we encourage guests to buy tickets in advance to ensure a spot and a crab, with all the fixings!”
Chef and co-owner Erik Heck loves this new tradition. “Dungeness crab epitomizes summer fare for me,” he says. “When the shells are flying, the vibe is relaxed and festive. Paired with more tasty seafood, sausage and veggies, and you have a wonderful meal.”
WildTale Coastal Grill is the newest restaurant from the team that brought Vancouver The Flying Pig restaurants. Its specialty is seafood that’s been grown, raised and caught in the world’s coastal regions.
Since the Crab Boil takes place just one Sunday afternoon per month, WildTale will continue to serve its popular ‘Nod to the Coast’ menu from brunch through dinner, featuring a range of dishes including Blueberry Buttermilk Pancakes with bourbon caramel; crispy Juan de Fuca fried oysters with pickle and dill dipping sauce; an array of Simply Grilled Fish, and much more.
